Lord you are good ALWAYS!

My home for the summer: Windy Gap. I mean, seriously I feel like dreams are coming true. My walk with Christ started here, and God continually brings me back to this place and uses me differently each time. I mean I am seriously in awe of how he just continues to provide and show up! He has seriously given me the confidence to do this: to leave my home for 3 months and work every day in His holy name. Could there be anything more satisfying? God is going to do such big things this summer here, just like he does every summer. I feel so blessed that he has chosen me to be apart of it.

Young Life to me is a family and community of people who except you just as you are, and its a place where you can lay it all down and just be real. It's a place of acceptance, truth, love, and full-blown grace.

That's Jesus to me. 

Jesus, you laid down yourself and gave me life. I pray that you not only use me and others working at Windy Gap this summer to reach lost high school kids, but you continually remind me throughout the summer that I am there to glorify you, because it's all for you, Jesus. Remind me that I was made complete in your image, and that I would be nothing without you. You saved me. I can't wait to see the hearts you take home this summer.
