The joy a child has about life is something I believe we all crave. We are meant to have the spirit of a child, to live as freely and joyfully as they do. I look back and think about my childhood, and how the biggest worry I had was whether or not the fireflies would come out so that I could catch them.
Being like that of a child, having a spirit like a child, is what the Lord wants for us.
He wants our hearts to be simply joyful.
The love of Christ is so evident in children. How easily they love, and how easily they find happiness is inspirational.
I am a child of God. I am his princess. I am his beloved.
I have been so humbled by his grace, and how he is continually showing me that he is in control.
I am in awe of him always, and how he reveals himself to me daily.
