Breathe in, breathe out.

some things that has troubled/relieved me:

1.

God may choose to work through us, but he doesn't need us.

As a Young life leader, that is troubling to hear, because I want to be selfish by being the reason girls start a relationship with Christ. What I've realized is that it's never just me, it's God working through me. So all credit goes to God.

2.

Favor doesn't mean comfortable.

God doesn't call us to be comfortable. We are favored because the Lord is with us, the Lord never leaves. That does not mean life is automatically perfect. God shows us that nothing in life will 100% satisfy, and that is why the Lord wants us to boast only in Him.

" Let him who boasts boast in the Lord."

" My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."

Remember that we can breathe the gift of the Lord through everything we do.
